About

Casa de Portugal occupies a two-stories high twinned house. Built in 1928 this street-facing house displays an elaborate design of the façade with special emphasis on maximizing natural light and cross ventilation, with louvered windows, balconies and a patio with a well on the back. Built in a moment of urban expansion it combines the attributes of larger suburban mansions in a compact plot. It displays a local neoclassical architectural style with local motifs.
